Each chapel was individually built for one of the victims of the road. At each of the chapels - even if the next village is as far as 300 km away - fresh flowers are to be found.
During the ride over the Transamericana again and again small, richly decorated chapels at the roadside cath one's attention.
There is no obstacle against their use as an advertising medium ;-)
